Cosplay ball 2014

Hei vaan!

Niin saatiin kuin saatiinki tännä eteläänki lunta jouluksi \o/ Tänään pitäis sataa vielä lisääki!

Mutta, viime viikonloppuna, lauantaina tarkemmin sanottuna, oli Pääkaupunkiseudun cosplay-yhdistyksen järkkäämät Cosplaytanssiaiset, jossa meikäläinenki oli! Olin lukenu viime vuoden tanssiaisista, ja kun nyt syksyllä on PC:n jutuissa tullu oltua mukana, niin aattelin että ois kiva mennä. Olin myös mukana järjestämässä juttua, joten saavuin Nuorisokeskus Happeen jo aamulla kahdentoista maissa auttamaan pistämään paikkaa kuntoon. Olin mukana ruokatiimissä, jossa meitä oli noin 8 henkeä, ja siis tietenki hoidettiin juhlien ruokatarjoilut ja tarjoilupöydän täynnä pitämisestä. Miun vastuulle oli laskeutunu tehdä meijän kasvissuolaset, semmosia juustovoitaikinahyrriä. Lisäks meillä oli kinkkuversioita noista, torttuja, karjalanpiirakoita, sipsiä, karkkia, pipareita, dipattavaksi porkkana- ja kurkkutikkuja, boolia, glögiä, kahvia, teetä, mehua, vettä.

Järjestelyt meni mielestäni hyvin, saatiin kaikki ajoissa valmiiksi, mitä ny kahvia keiteltiin vielä ku ihmisiä saapu ja tanssiharkat alko :'D Hyrrät loppu aika aikasin, mutta muuten kaikki riitti hyvin.

We got snow here in southern Finland after all for Christmas \o/ Today it should be snowing even more!

But, last weekend, on Saturday to be exact, was Cosplay ball held by Pääkaupunkiseudun cosplay-yhdistys (Cosplay community here in capital area of Finland), where I attended as well! I had read about last year's ball in blogs, and since I have been in PC's meetings this fall, I though I'd go as well. I was also in arranging team, so I got to the Happi Youth Center already around 12 am to help put the place in order. I was in food team, where we had about 8 people, and of course we took care of the party's food servings and filling the table. On my shoulders came to make vegetarian versions of our salty servings, cheese puff pastry rolls. We also had ham versions of those, Christmas pastrys, karelian pies, chips, candy, gingerbread cookies, carrot and cucumber sticks to dip, punch, glog, coffee, tea, juice and water.

Arrangements went pretty well on my opinion, we got everything ready in time, only needed to make coffee when people started to show up and the dance practice started :'D the rolls ended pretty early but other stuff we had enough.

Hahmoksi valitsin Kristan Attack on Titanista. En mitään uutta alkanu väsäämään, vaan käytin mun vanhaa valmistujaismekkoa, koska se on kiva (ja tulipahan sitäki käytettyä vielä). Keksin myös tehä tommosen kampauksen, joka kyllä oli tosi sekanen koska päätin että avaan sen ja teen uusiks viel paikanpäällä, mut eipä siitä sen siistimpi tullu :'D Sain myös luokkakaveriltani nuo mustat hanskat. Pariksieni sain Ainon, kun muistin että se oli sanonu haluuvansa cossata Ymirii. Harmi vaan että sen peruukki ei ehtiny, mutta hyvin sujui Ymppä sillä omillaki hiuksilla! Muuten sitte hengailtii Elemmiren ja Spitaalisen kanssa pääsääntösesti, sillo ku en ollu keittiössä (no okei emmä siellä nii paljoo ollu).

Tanssiaiset alko linnanjulhatyylisellä sisääntulolla, jossa kaikki kävi kättelemässä viime vuoden kuningasta ja kuningatarta. Ne oli Erwin ja Levi :'D Arvatkaapa vaa ku Sanna kuulutti meijät (hahmojen nimillä) ni ne meinas alkaa nauraa, ja kaikilla oli pokassa vähän pitämistä kättelyssä :'D

Tanssitki meni kivasti, vaikka Aino ei ollu yhissäkää harkoissa, ja tonpäiväsistäki ehittii kahtee tanssii. Mut hyvin oppi silti ne mitä tanssittii. Lisäks kävin itekseni tanssii Goddessesin ja Ghost Trainin (duh, yksittäistanssi) ja toisen Pornopolkan. 

Tanssiaisissa oli myös itsepalvelukuvauspiste, jossa sai käydä ottaa kuvia, ja yks photoshootnurkkaus jonne oli koottu semmone joulusetti. Propsit kuvauspalvelulle ja Sannalle ku uskalsivat jättää kalliit kameransa sinne noin vaa käytettäväks! Yleiskuvia en tullu ottaneeks, koska ylläri puvussa ei ollu taskuja että oisin puhelinta voinu kantaa mukana, ja siellä otettuja yleiskuvia ei oo vielä julkastu.

As my character I chose Krista from Attack on Titan. I didn't do anything new, but used my old graduation dress, since it's nice (and got to use it again). I also figured I'd do that kind of nice hairdo, though it was really messy since I decided to open and redo it at Happi, but it didn't come any neater :'D I also got those black gloves from my class mate. Aino came as my partner, as I had remembered she's said she wanted to cosplay Ymir. Unfortunately her wig didn't make it in time, but she did well as Ymir with her real hair! Mostly we hanged out with Elemmire and Spitaalinen, when I wasn't in the kitchen (well okay I wasn't there that much.)

The ball started with president'sindependencedaylike entering where everyone shook hands with last year's king and queen. They were Erwin and Levi :'D Just quess when Sanna called us (by character names), they almost started laughing, and we all had a bit hard time having poker face at the moment of hand shaking :'D

The dances when fine too, even though Aino hadn't been at any practices and we only got to that day's practices during last two dances. But she learned well all we danced anyway. I also danced by my self Goddesses, Ghost Train (well duh, solo dance) and another Pornopolka.

The ball had this self-service photo booth where you could take pictures and one photoshoot corner where was Christmas themed set. Huge respect to the photo booth people and Sanna for daring to leave their expensive cameras there to be used just like that! I didn't take any overview pictures, 'cuz surprise, no pockets so I couldn't carry my phone along, and the pictures that were taken there haven't still been published.

Tanssien jälkeen oli vielä cossikisat ja uuden kuninkaan ja kuningattaren valinta, joiksi valikoitui Prince Bubblegum? (Adventure Time) ja Elsa (Frozen). Sitten alkoi disko loppuajaksi. Itse jouduin hipsimään pois siinä kymmenen yhdentoista välillä, koska päänsärky alkoi pikkuhiljaa iskemään, ja kotiin päästyä se olikin jo aika mojova.

Mutta oli ihan sairaan kivaa, ja hauskaa ja superia ja seura oli mahtavaa! Toivottavasti nämä järkätään taas ens vuonna, koska mulla on asuidea jo valmiina! \o/

After the dances we still had the cosplay competition and choosing of the new king and queen, who were Prince Bubblegum? (Adventure Time) and Elsa (Frozen). Then was it was disco for the rest of the time. I had to leave around ten-eleven pm as I started having a headache, which was quite hard when I got home.

But it was so nice and fun and super! I had awesome company! I hope this will come next year too, as I have costume idea in mind already! \o/

'sup? Pari viime viikkoa on ollu taas menoa ja meininkiä. 

18.-19. päivä käväsin Ruottin risteilyllä kera kivojen tyyppien. Hengailua, karkkiostoksia, hissiselfieitä ja sen sellasta pitkälti. Suurin pettymys oli että buffetissa oli pelkkiä jouluruokia joten ei menty sinne ;^; Haluan jouluruokani jouluna, kiitos.
Tukholmassa pyörähdettiin pikasesti (eksymässä. Millä todennäkösyydellä se ainoa pariskunta jolta kysyt apua isossa kaupungissa, on ulkomaalainen?! Koska näin meille kävi :D). Kuninkaanpalatsin viereisessä museossa oli Game of Thrones-näyttely, jossa halusin käydä, tosin en sinne saapumiseen asti ollut varma vieläkö se siellä on :'D Oli onneksi, mutta en sitten viittiny maksaa/mennä yksin kattomaan sitä, mutta onneks siinä ulkopuolella oli Iron Throne jonka kanssa sai otettua kuvan~
Laivalla oli myös tämmönen ilma-akrobatia esitys, joka oli pakko nähdä ja se oli AWESOMEEEEE~!  Se mimmi muunmuassa roikku pelkästää sen miehen niskalihasten varassa.... o____o Sitä ennen oli myös joku afrikkalainen tanssiesitys, jonka takia mulla soi loppuviikon Waka Waka päässä.

Lisäsin myös pehmolelukokoelmaani Minionilla <3 Niitä sai sellasesta kourapelistä (ne jotka on lukenu mun Tokio-postaukset tietää miten paljon näitä vihaan... mut pakko oli yrittää). Tossa oli kaks, ja yritin eka sitä toista, kunnes sopottasin tän siellä alempana, ja pyysin työntekijää joka siinä käväs kaivamaa sen ylös että voisin kokeilla sitä. Tää heebo otti sen sieltä ja ojens mulle sillee "sä voit saada sen". Most ramdom moment, mutta ompahan Minioni <3

'sup? A couple of last weeks have been all kinds of stuff happening.
18.-19th I went to cruise with some nice fellas. We mostly hanged around, shopped candy, had elevator selfies and so on. The biggest disappointment was that the buffet had only Christmas foods so we didn't go there ;^; I want my Christmas food on Christmas, thank you.
We also did a quick turn at Stockholm (to get lost. What are the odds that the only couple you ask for direction in a big city are foreigners?! Because that's what happened to us : D) There was a Game of Thrones exhibition at the museum next to King's Palace which I wanted to see, though until the moment we got there I wasn't sure whether it would still be there or not :'D Gladly it was, but I wasn't keen on paying/going there alone, but good thing was that there was the Iron Throne outside whit which I got a picture~
On the cuirse there was also this air acrobatics show, which I had to see and it was AWESOMEE~!! That girl for example hanged from only the guy's neck o____o Before it was also some African dance show, thanks to which Waka Waka played in my head for the rest of the week.
I also increased my plushie collection by Mimion <3 They had those in a UFO catcher (everyone who has read my posts from our Tokyo-trip knows how much I hate these... but I had to try). That one had two, and I first tried another before I spotted this one under everything, and asked if the worker would dug it up so I could try it. This guy took it out and gave it to me with "you can have it". Most random moment but at least I have Minion now <3

Suddenly got Japan feels ;_;

Viime lauantaina oltiin juhlistamassa ystäväni Sannin 20-vuotissynttäreitä (vastahan me juhlittii ku se täytti 18.. onks siitä jo kaks vuotta? o.o ). Teemana oli "Älä saavu omana itsenäsi." Näin tämän tietysti tsänssinä päästä cossaamaan! Ja viimeinkin käyttämään mun Iwatobi-takkia, jonka sain vähä ennen Traconia <3 Koska Goun painava peruukki ei houkuttanu, valikoitui hahmoksi Nagisa. 

Paikanpäälle löytäminen oli jo oma haasteensa, koska en ollu tuolla ennen käyny ja lol joku Vantaa, emmä siellä pyöri. Onnistuin kumminkin suht hyvin, vaikka reitti olikin julkisilla pitkä koska asun just toisessa päässä pääkaupunkiseutua. Naurettiiki Dinon kaa että mulla kesti Espoosta tonne joku 1,5 tuntii, ku niiltä kesti Lahdesta autolla vaa 45 minuuttii xD

Mässäiltiin kaikkee herkkuu ja Sanni oli tehny meille hyvää kakkua ja Ippe hyviä ruisleipäpizzoja. Sanni myös teki kaikille semmosia drinkkejä mitä ne pyys (Se opiskelee baarimikoks). Sain semmosen jonku hedelmäisen missä oli Malibua, namiii~<3 Pelattiin myös mm. bussinpenkkiä ja sellasta jotai nimiarvuuttelu peliä. Ja katottii outoja Tube-videoita.

Last Saturday we celebrated my friend Sanni's 20th birthday (didn't we just party when she turned 18.. it has already been two years? o.o ) A theme was "Don't arrive as yourself". I of course took this as a chance to cosplay! And at last use my Iwatobi-jacket that I got some time before Tracon <3 Since I wasn't keen on using Gou's heavy wig, I picked Nagisa.

It was a bit of a challenge to find my way there, because I hadn't been there before and lol Vantaa, I don't hand around there. I managed pretty good still, though the way was long with the public transportation since I live in completely other side of the capital area. We laughed with Dino that it took me about 1,5 hours to arrive, when they drove from Lahti (another city, about 100 km from Helsinki) in 45 minutes XD

We ate lots of sweets and Sanni had made us a delicious cake and Ippe tasty rye bread pizzas. Sanni also make us different kinds of drinks that we asked for (she's studying to be a bartender). I got a fruity one with some Malibu, yummyyy~ <3 We also played some games, for example bus bench and this one name guessing game. And watched stupid Tube-videos.

Viime perjantaina kävin taas PC:n miitissä Sörnäisissä. Pikkujoulutanssiaiset lähestyy, joten tuolla oli tarkotus vähän harjotella sinne tulevia tansseja. En ite ollu koskaan Wanhoissa, ja Ropeconin tanssiaisaki oon vaan seurannu sivusta, joten en tienny näistä mitää etukäteen. Mutta oli kiva oppia ja nää mitä nyt käytii oli suht helppoja :>

Lauantaina sitten oli miun tuparit+pikkujoulut muutamille kavereille. Vedettiin nyyttäri hengessä, ite tein (totta kai) kakun ja pipareita! Muuten vaan hengattiin, pelattiin Zombie Fluxia ja laulettiin Singstaria. Mun, Ainon ja Minnan "viittomadubit" on niin kauniita l'D

Last Friday I went again to the meet up of the PC. The Cristmas ball is closing so we were supposed to train some dances that would come there. I never attended the high school dance we had (like prom but not like prom) and I have always followed Ropecon's ball from the side, so I didn't know any of these beforehand.  But it was nice to learn them and those we went trough were pretty easy :>

On Saturday I had housewarming+pre-Christmas party with some friends. We had bring-dish solution, and I made a cake ( of course) and gingerbread cookies! Otherwise we just hanged arounf, played Zombie Fluz and sang Singstar. Mine, Aino and Minna's "sign dubs" were so beautiful l'D

Pari seuraavaa viikkoa tulee olemaan itella aika kiireistä, mutta onneks on ees jotain cosplay-juttuja mitä odottaa. Nuo tanssiaiset, mitkä jo mainitsin, jonne menen Kristana :> Viikkoa ennen meillä on myös Free!-ryhmällä joulu-shootti! Meidän posse on kasvanut mm. Momotarolla ja Sousukella, kuin myös Seijuroulla, mutta hän ei valitettavasti pääsekkään tähän shoottiin >: Mut äääää! Odotan tätä hirveesti!

Tosin tilasin Goulle uuden peruukin, mutta se oli liian punanen >: en tiä ehinkö saada uutta ajoissa, en myöskään tiä onko tääse mikä alunperin katos vai se minkä tilasin sen tilalle (eka saapumispäivä tässä oli vasta 2.12). Että menen varmaan vielä ton vanhalla peruukilla.

A couple of next weeks are  quite busy for me, but luckily there will be some cosplay-stuff to wait for. That ball that I mentoined, where I will go as Krista :> A week before that we will have a Christmas-shoot with our Free!-group! Our group has increased with Momotaro and Sousuke, as well as with Seijurou but she can't make it to this shoot >: But AAAA! I'm so excited about this!

I ordered a new wig for Gou, but it was too red >: I don't know if I can get new one in time, or if this is the one that got lost or the one I ordered after that (which has first arriving day on 2.12). So maybe I'll go this shoot with the old wig.

But that's everything for now! Next time we'll meet by the photoshoots, and I'll try to start on fixing Kouha.
