I know I made this post of cosplay plans for next year.... I have already changed it l'D
So, Yukicon is held in next January in Espoo, Tapiola's Culture Center. As citizen of Espoo, of course I have to got there! I actually applied to work there. The results should come some time during December. I've never worked at con before, and it would be nice to try that for once at least ('cuz free ent-- I mean work experience!).
Today I'm going to my brother's place to draw the patterns with his fiance, and I'll try to buy the fabrics during this week. After all, it's only two months left :) (why did I think I have tons of time left?)
Only plan that stayed is Elyon. I was planning Hikari or Oliver for another cosplay, but then things happened, Free! ended and I got huge urge to cosplay Gou :'D So yeah, Hikari was cancelled because her winter outfit wasn't what I first thought it would be, and Oliver was pushed back for some other time.
Now that I have read Magi further, I also got urge to fix Hakuryuu. So I'm now wondering wether to do him for Yuki or Frostbite in February. Yuki would be nicer that why because it's near, so going there would be easy. But then again, as it's near I might have to take a bus, so spear and conspicuous outfit might not be the best. But I thought of going to Frostbite, which is held in Lahti, by car, so I could take Hakuryuu there. But thenagain... the costume is veeeeery thin fabric, and that during winter.... nnnnnoope. So maybe I'll leave Hakuryuu for summer/spring :'D We'll see. If I get the job at Yuki, I'll defenitely take Gou there, since comfortable cosplay is probably easier when working.
I just hope there will be other Free! cosplays at Yuki, since photoshooting it would be nicer with company as in Free! friends are so high priority, you know :'D
My biggest problem currently are Elyon's shoes. I can't find any boots like that, and shoes like that usually cost a lot! >: I was looking trough eBay as well. I found a couple of good choices. Or then I'll make bootcovers. We'll see , we'll see...
If someone sees light grey, over knee boots with humane prize, let me know!
