2.1 järjestettiin kolmannet Pääkaupunkiseudun cosplayharrastat ry:n hostaamat Cosplaytanssiaiset. Tänä vuonna tapahtuma järjestettiin Glorialla, Helsingissä. Tapahtuma oli siis isompi tänä vuonna, kun edellisvuosina se on ollut enemmän PC:n oma juttu.
Mulle tämä oli toka kerta tanssiaisissa, ja tarkoitus oli tänä vuonna mennä ihan normi kävijänä kun viime vuonna olin mukana järkkäämässä. No eihän se ny taas menny ihan ku kässärissä, vaan päädyin kumminki työvoimapulan takia auttamaan parin tunnin vuorolla : D Olin myös vähän yllättynyt miten hyvin Gloria sopi tähän, olen ollut siellä viimeksi... 2012? Siitä on jäänyt sen ja muiden puheiden perusteella tietynlainen kuva, mutta paikka sopi tälläiseen pikkutapahtumaan oikein hyvin.
Puvuksi valikoitui tosiaan Kouha, jolle kokosin tapahtuvaan sopivan asun. Paidan lainasin pariltani Convallarialta, liivi oli Halloweenin jäljiltä ja housut ja kengät löytyi kirppikseltä (oli muuten eka kerta kun löysin sopivat cossikengät kirpparilta! Tai no, melkeen sopivat, oli ne vähän isot mut meni silti). Convallaria cossasi Koumeita, Kouhan isoveljeä, ja yritin mätsätä pukuni hänen asuunsa : D
Saavuin paikalle pari minuuttia ennen ovien avausta, ja hämmästyksekseni siellä oli odottamassa vain ehkä 6 ihmistä o__o Onneksi väkeä tiputteli sitten siinä ekan tunnin aikana.
2.1 Pääkaupunkiseudun cosplayharrastajt ry hosted third Cosplay ball. This year it was held at Gloria, Helsinki. It was bigger than last year when it has been more like PC's own thing.
This was second time for me at this event, and I was supposed to go as a normal visitor this year as last year I was in the arranging team. But it didn't go according to keikaku and due the lack of workers I ended up agreeing to help with a two hour shift : D I was also pretty surprised how well Gloria fit for this, I've been there last time... 2012? By that and what other people have said I've gotten a certain type of picture of the place but for this kind of small event it fit very well.
I cosplayed Kouha for whom I pulled off a fitting costume for the event. I loaned my shirt from my partner Convallaria, I had the vest from Halloween and found pants and shoes from second hand shop (this was by the way first time I found fitting shoes for cosplay from second hand! Well, almost fitting as they were a bit too big but not too much so I couldn't use them). Convallaria cosplayed Koumei, Kouha's big brother, and I tried match my outfit to hers : D
I arrived to Gloria few minutes before they opened the doors and to my surprise there were only like 6 other people waiting o___o Good thing people dropped in little by little during first hour.
Paikka oli koristeltu tosi kivasti! Harmi vaan että nuo pallot tippuivat katosta pitkin iltaa :'D
Historialliset tanssit alkoivat klo 16. Olin käynyt taas ennen tanssiaisia tanssiharkoissa. Lempparini uusista tansseista oli Irish Gipsy (musa postauksen alussa koska se on kiva), se oli vaikee ja totta kai kusasin sen itse tanssiaisissa mutta oh well xD Ghost Train kyllä pitää edelleen kärkisijan lempitanssina. Historiallisten tanssien jälkeen alkoi mun työvuoro klo 20, kävin täyttämässä vesi ja booliastiat ja tarkistamassa vähän paikkoja oliko siistiä jne. Sitten lähdettiin hakemaan mäkkäristä ruokaa kaverien kanssa että ehdittiin takasin kuninkaallisten julistusta ennen. Onnea Ed ja Black Widow! :D Kuninkaallisten julkistuksen jälkeen alkoi iltabileet, ja ensin vaan pidettiin meidän porukalla omaa karaokea ennen kun siirryttiin itsekin tanssimaan. Oli tosi kivaa laulaa biisien mukana ja tanssia~ Kuvitelkaa koko sali laulamassa täysillä Titanicia ja Pokémonin tunnaria :D
Tanssiaiset loppuivat puolilta öin ja sain onneksi iskältä kyydin kotiin. Mutta, tosi kivaa oli, tämä vuosi oli jopa parempi kuin viimeksi. Kiitos ihanalle seuralleni Convallaria, Jansutti, LaaLaa ja Sona, sekä ne muut jotka siinä pyöri joiden nimiä en tiedä! Ens vuonna uusiks jooko?
The place had been decorated nicely! Too bad those balloons fell down by the evening :'D Historial dances started at 4 pm. I had been at the dance practices before the ball itself. My favourite of the new dances this year was Irish Gipsy (the music for it is at the beginning of the post), it's hard and of course I messed up a bit but oh well xD Ghost Train is still my favourite dance of all. After the historials my work shift began at 8 pm, I went to fill the drinks and checked up around the place to see if it was clean. Then we went to get food from McDonald's with my friends so we'd get back before the announcement of the king and queen. Congrants Ed and Black Widow! :D After this started the after party, and first we just had our own karaoke party with our group before moving to the dance floor. It was nice to sing along and dance! Imagine whole hall full of people singing Titanic and Pokémon theme :D
The ball ended around midnight and thank god I got ride home from dad. But, it was super fun, even better than last year. Thank you to my lovely company Convallaria, Jansutti, LaaLaa and Sona, and those other people whose names I didn't know. Again next year okay?
