Halloween 2016 + GameXpo/Cosplayn SM-kisat

Kävin tänä vuonna kahdissa halloween bileissä! Ensimmäiset järjesti Chiruka luonaan. Meinin tänne suoraan töistä joten en oikeen voinu mitään kummempaa asua värkätä, joten menin perus noitana plus peruukki (ja hattuakin unohin kokonaan käyttää). Karaokebileet oli juuri käynnissä kun saavuin paikalle. Lauloin iteki jokusen biisin, ainakin Babymetalin Karaten ja Megitsunen ja Digimonin openinging~

Samana päivänä oli myös Eurocosplayn finaali joka katottiin porukalla. Suomen Umi veti tosi hyvin! Muita lemppareita oli GOTin Tywin joka tais olla Espanjan edustaja ja Saksan vampyyri vaikken lähdeteosta tuntenu, joka tuli tokaks.

Muuten ei ollu kovin kummoset kisan, paskaa lipsynkkiä ja lavan ympäri haahuilua. Olisin kyllä Umin ehdottomasti nostanu sijotuksille, mutta ilmeisesti esityksellä ei oo juurikaan painoarvoa ECssä? Oli Umilla kyllä hieno asukin. Suomen kaikki kisat on kyllä laadultaan huomattavasti parempia kun mitä tuona iltana näin.

I went to two halloween parties! First ones were held by Chiruka at her place. I went there straight from work so I couldn't take anything too flashy costume, so I went as basic witch with wig ( and forgot to use my hat). They had karaoke party going on when I arrived. I also sang few songs, at least Karaoke and Megitsune by Babymetal and Digimon's opening~

Eurocosplay finals were held on the same day so we watched them together. Finland's Umi did surper well! My other favorites were Tywin from GOT who was from Spain if I remember correctly and Germany's vampire though I didn't know the source, who placed 2nd.

It wasn't really interesting contest otherwise, bad lip sync and walking around the stage. I would have placed Umi but apparently the skit doesn't have much any meaning in EC? Her costume was so pretty too. Competitions in Finland are so much better quality than what we saw that day.

Toiset halloweenit järkkäsin ite omalle squadille. Keksin itelle asun taas kaks päivää ennen ja väkersin pe ja la iltoina itelle pirun sarvet, siivet ja hännän l'D Täältäkään ei oo kuvia, mutta syötiin, juteltiin, katottiin What we do in The Shadows (iha mahtava leffa!) ja pelattiin One Nightia. Tein meille kinkkuvoileipäkakun ja lisäks ostin töistä pienen suklaamoussekakun. Minna auttoi koristeluissa :>

Another party I held myself for my squal. I figured out my costume again two days prior and made myself horns, wings and tail for devil l'D I don't have many photos from here either, but we ate, chat, watched What we do in the Shadows (awesome movie!) and played One night. I made us ham sanwhich cake and bought a small chocolate mousse cake from work. Minna helped with decorations :>

We took the dog out and went to buy bananas for smoothie looking like this (well I didn't have wig yet but anyways) : D

Jälkimmäisiä bileitä edeltävänä päivänä käväsin Gamexpossa, jossa tänä vuonna järkättiin Cosplayn SM-kisat. Cossiksi valikoitui Mystic Messengerin MC (=main character). Alunperin suunnittelin Yoosungia, mutta peruukki jonka sain ei ollutkaan sitä mitä odotin. MC:lle löysin villapaidan kirpparilta ja muut vaatteet omasta kaapista.

Day before the latter party I went to GameXpo where the Cosplay Finnish Championships were held this year.I cosplayed MC(=main character) from Mystic Messenger. I was thinking of going as Yoosung first but the wig I got for him wasn't what I expected. I found MC's jumper from flea market and the rest was from my own closet.

En edes pelaa ikinä mitää, joten sinäänsä en tuntenu et kuulun koko tapahtumaan enkä tiä miks ees menin niin aikasin ku ainoo asia mikä siel kiinnosti oli SM:t. Löysin Neeneen ja Rikun jonka kanssa hengasin ja pyörittiin pelialue ympäri. Nähtävää ei ollu paljon ja mikään mikä vähänkää ois kiinnostanu ei houkuttanu koska joka paikka oli täynnä ihmisiä. Tehtiin pikanen pyörähdys Skiexpon puolella ihan vaan ajan kuluks. Messujen ongelma on se että monta aihealuetta tungetaan saman katon alle=paljon ihmisiä= paljon normoja. Tämäkö on sitä maailmojen kohtaamista : D cossaajia ei paikalla tuntunu olevan kun kourallinen.

Päätettiin lopulta käydä ostamassa Hesemättöä (koska se oli ainoa decent hintanen paikka messiksessä, koska paikalta ei voinu poistua kun ei ollu rannekkeita =toinen messujen huono puoli) ja mentiin kisakatsomoon jo varaamaan paikat ja syömään ja kirottiin kaikkea. Kun kisat alko lähestyä, pieni katsomo täyttyi tosi nopeasti, ja oon aika varma että puolet oli normimessukävijöitä jotka ei oikeestaa tienny mitä tuli kattomaan, ja paljon ihmisiä joutu istumaan lattialla/seisomaan. 

Lavahan ei ollut missään omassa salissa, vaan siinä messuhallissa missä kaikki muukin meno, eli hälinää ja melua riitti, ja vieruskaverin kanssa keskustellakseen piti korottaa ääntä. Sentään kisajärkkärit olivat sen verta fiksuja, että odottivat katsomon takana pidettävien skeittikisojen loppumista, josta suurin melu tuli plus ihmisiä seiso katsomossa kattomassa niitä.. Melun takia myös musiikki ja äänet oli tosi kovalla. Rehellisesti sanon että istuin Puremoden ekan tanssin sormet korvissa, arvostan tärykalvojani.

Ääniä saatiin onneks vähän hiljemmalle lopulta. Kisassa oli hyviä esityksiä, monesta jäi kylläkin vähän laimea kuva siksi kun ei ymmärtäny mitä tapahtuu, koska ei tuntenut lähdesarjaa. Sijotukset meni oikeisiin osotteisiin, etenkin yksilösarjan voitto. Hapsun esitys oli silkkaa parhautta!!

Kisojen jälkeen löysin pari muuta MM-cossaajaa, ja otettiin yhteisselfiet ja meistä otettiin pari kuvaa (joita en ole saanut vielä :<). Sitten lähdettiin Joshin ja Babmin kanssa kotia kohti.

I don't even play anything, so I kinda didn't feel like I belonged to the event and I don't even know why I went there that early when the cosplay contest was the only thing that interested me. I found Neenee and Riku whom I hanged out with and we walked around the game area. There wasn't much to see and and everyplace was so cramped with people that even if something caught your eye you didn't feel like investigating it. We did quick round at the Skiexpo side too to pass time. The problem with fair kind of event is that many different fields are put under same roof = much people = much normal people. Is this the meeting of the worlds :'D there weren't many cosplayers even.

We decided to go get food from Hesburger (because it was only decent priced place inside since you couldn't leave outside since there weren't any wristbands or anything = another bad thing in fairs) and went to eat to the audience where the competition would be held so we'd get good seats and just overall cursed everything. When the competition lurked closer the small audience got full fast and I'm pretty sure half of them were normal people who had no idea what they came to see and many people were left to sit on the floor or stand. The stage wasn't in any  closed area but there at the fair hall with everything else, so there were lots of background noise and you needed to raise your voice just to talk to the person next to you. Good thing that the competition organaizers were smart enough to wait until the skate board contest held behind the audience ended, since this was the biggest source of noice and people were standing in the audience to watch them. Also because of all the other noice music was on super loud. I honestly sat with fingers in my ears during Puremode's first dance, I appreciate my eardrums thank you very much.

They put the music and other voices lower eventually. The contest had nice performances, many I didn't really get since I didn't know the reference material. But all the placings went to right contestants, especially the first place of solo competition. Hapsu's performance was pure awesomeness!!

After the contest I found a couple of other MM cosplayers, we took selfies and some people took photos of us (but I haven't got these yet :< ). Then I left home with Josh and Bambi.

Tämä oli sitten tän vuoden vika "con" vaikkei coni ihan ollutkaan. Vielä toki on Super Galactic Space Party aka cosplaybileet (eli ne PC:n tanssiaiset mitkä ei virallisesti tänä vuonna oo tanssiaiset)! Kannattaa tulla mukaan ;>  MC:nä oisin sinnekin näillä näkymin menossa koska LaaLaa on laittamassa joko Sevenin tai Yoosungin~ Seuraava kunnon coni on sitten Frosti, jonne tuota Kotoria olen tekemässä.

This was the last "con" of the year even though it wasn't really con. Of course there is still Super Galactic Space Party aka cosplay party (aka that cosplayball PC held that isn't offically a ball this year)! Come along if you can! ;> It seems I'm going as MC again since LaaLaa is putting either Seven or Yoosung~ Next real con is Frostbite. to where I'm making Kotori I wrote about earlier.

Halloweenit on nyt juhlittu, joko saa kaivaa joulukoristeet esille eiku-

Itsellä oli tänä vuonna kolmet halloween-juhlat. Tai 2,5. Ne ekat oli sillai vähä niinku pre-halloweenit. Mietittiin vaa randomisti viikko sitte et nähää kaverien kaa, ja sit ne eskaloitu yhden tupareiks.

I had three halloween partier this year. Or, 2.5. The first one was kinda like pre-halloween. We just randomly thought with few friends we'd see, and then it escalated to one's housewarming.

Pätkisjuustokakku jonka tein sinne/ I made mint chocolate cheesecake to there

Virallisena päivänä sitten oli Pääkaupunkiseudun cosplayn halloween-miitti. Oltiin tänne tosiaan Elemmírén kanssa sovittu että laitetaan vampyyri-AU Gou ja Nagisa. Sanotaanko et oli vähän kuumottavaa matkustaa bussissa ja kävellä Kampista rauttikselle punasissa piilareissa just siihe ruuhka-aikaan. Käytiin kaupassa ja myyjä totes vaan "herran jestas teijän silmiä!" Mut no, halloween :'D
Täällä pitkälti hengailtiin vaan, katteltiin muutama hassu Tube-video, mm Ismo Leikolaa ja outoja japanilaisia mainoksia ja syötiin paljon herkkuja. Jossain vaiheessa osa päätti alkaa pelaamaan semmosta peliä kun Cards Against Humanity. Mä haluun ton pelin, se oli jotain parasta :'DD En ollu mukana, mutta kattelin vierestä ja se oli aika hauskaa seurattavaa. Saatiin shootattua jonkun verran, mutta kun alotettiin sillee ehkä puol tuntii ennen ku meijä vuoro tuolla loppu, ei ihan hirveesti ehitty. Ei esim päästy käyttelee tekoverta. Mut photoshop on kaveri. Muutenki piti vähän muokkailla, koska kumpiki oltii naamaamme vaalennettu, mut se ei näkyny kuvissa. Shottailin myös kaverien UtaPri-ryhmää vähän.

On the offical day it was Pääkaupnkiseudun cosplay's halloween meet up. We had planned with Elemmíré that we'll put on vampire-AU Gou and Nagisa. Let's say it was quite heating to travel by bus and to walk from Kamppi to railway station during the rush time. We went to the grocery store and the casher commented "holy god your eyes!" But, well, halloween :'D
There we mainly hanged out, watched few stupid tube-videos, like Ismo Leikola and weird japanese commercals, and ate lots of sweets. At some point some people started playing game called Cards Against Humanity. I want that game, it was best ever :'DD I wasn't in but I was watching from the side and it was kinda amising. We also shooted our costumes, but since we started like about half an hour before our shift there ended, we didn't have time to get many. We didn't get to use fake blood for example. But Photoshop is a friend. Needed to edit the pictures anyway, since we both had lightened our face, but it didn't show in the pictures. I also shooted my friends' UtaPri group a little bit.

Höhö sain mun OTP-momentit~ Koska BL on nii mainstream (aka olen se ernu ernujen joukossa joka ei harrasta sitä :'D)

Lauantaina sitten oli vielä Rewen järkkäämät pardit. Tänne lähdin ihan vaan random peruukki päässä ja piilareissa. Tein myös creepy hämppis-muffinsseja : D Katteltiin leffoja, eka oli joku Dead Snow, norjalainen kauhuleffa, jossa oli juoksevia natsi zombeja.
Juoksevia. Natsi. Zombeja.
Se oli tää perus "mennään mökkiin keskellä ei mitään ja pahoja alkaa tapahtua". Ja nuo zombit ei suinkaa purru, ne löi. Kovaa. Terävillä asioilla. Nimettiin päähenkilöistä yks Ismoks, koska se näytti Salkkarien Ismolta, ja toinen Spokiks koska se näytti Spokilta. Ihmeteltiin kans miks nää kaikki natsit oli Norjassa :'D Parastahan oli et katottiin tätä ilman tekstityksiä, eli ei ymmärretty yhtää mitää. Ehkä se oli ihan hyväki xD Välillä dubattiin ite päälle.
Sen jälkee kuvattiin pätkä hostiemme TEA13TIME-youtube-sarjaan. Linkkailen sen tänne kun se julkastaan. Pitäis kattoo varmaa tota noiden sarjaa pidemmälle, oon kattonu vaa pari jaksoo l'D
Sitten katottiin Horns, eli leffa jossa Harry Potterista tulee Saatana. Siis, päähenkilönä on Daniel Radcliff, mutta nään sen ikuisesti 17-v Potterina. Eräänä aamuna se herää ja huomaa et sillä kasvaa sarvet päässä, jonka jälkeen ihmiset alkaa paljastelee sille syntejään ja paheitaan, joten se käyttää tätä löytääkseen ex-tyttöystävänsä murhaajan.Tää leffa oli oikeestaan loppuje lopuks yllättävän hyvä :'D
Jossai vaiheessa tajuttiin et nää muut hahmot edusti seittemää kuolemansyntiä, ja yritettii päätellä kuka oli mikä synti.
Otin täällä kyllä kuvia, mutta känny meni seuraavana päivänä huoltoon ja arvatkaapa muistinko siirtää ne sitä ennen sieltä pois. Nope. Pyysin Reweltä pari kuvaa tosin :> Instasta löytyy myös vähän parempi kuva muffinsseista.

Saturday I had party arranged by Rewe. Here I went with just random wig and contacts. I also made creepy spider muffins : D We watched movies, first was Dead Snow, Norwegian horror movie, that had running Nazi zombies.
Running. Nazi. Zombies.
It was the usual "let's go to a cabin in the middle of nothing and bad things start to happen." And those zombies didn't bite, they hit. Hard. With sharp things. We named one of the main characters Ismo, as he resembled Ismo-named character from Finnish show Salatut Elämät, and other one Spok because he looked like Spok. We also wondered why all these Nazis were in Norway :'D Best thing was that we watched it without subtitles, so we didn't understand a thing. Maybe it was good thing xD We did our own dubs.
Then we filmed a video for our hosts' TEA13TIME-Youtube show. I'll link it here when they upload it. I should watch that more maybe, I've only seen a couple episodes l'D
Then we watched Horns, AKA movie where Harry Potter turnd into Satan. Meaning, the main character was played by Daniel Radcliff, but he'll be forever 17-years old Potter for me. One day he woke up and found out that he has horns growing from his head, after which people started to confess their sins and vices for him, so he used this to find the murderer of his ex-girlfriend. This movie was actually suptisingly good in the end :'D At some point we noticed that other characters represented seven deadly sins, and tried to figure who was which sin.
I took few pictures here, but as my phone went to repair on next day, just guess did I remember to move them to my computer. Nope. I asked few pictures from Rewe though :>  I have a bit better picture of the muffins in Instagram.

Vähän vajaampi juhlapöytä

Et semmone Halloweeni tällä kertaa. En oo tainnu ennen varsinaisesti cossata tollon (viime vuoden shootti oli halloweenin aikoihin ja teemainen, mut ei silti virallisesti halloweenia vietetty :'D). Toivottavasti jatkuu vastedeskin ^o^ Nyt kohti tulevia koitoksia!

That kind of Halloween this time. I haven't really cosplayed during it before (last year's shoot was around it and a bit Halloween themed, but we didn't offically celebrate it :'D). I hope this continued next years too ^o^ Now to the new adventures!

Photoshoot: Magia ilmassa

Heissun!

Sain tänään Ainolta meijän Magi-shootti kuvat parin viikon takaa, ja kun sain ne näinkin "aikasin" editoitua valmiiks, en jaksanu oottaa tän tekemistä huomisee :'D

Haluttiin Elemmiren kanssa kumpikin shootata meijän Magi-cosseja, kun Traconista ei kuvia niinkää tullu (tai siis ite en oo niitä vieläkää saanu...) ja päätettiin mennä kimpassa shoottimaa. Paikan löytämine oli vähän hankalaa, mutta sitten jostain bongattiin Jollaksen Matosaaren, itä-Helsingissä, sijaitsevat pienet rauniot. Käytiin pari päivää ennen tsekkaamassa paikka kaiken varalta, koska kuvat oli talvelta ja parin vuoden takaa, että sit olis aikaa tehä plan B jos toi ei toimiskaa. Tonne eksyminen oli vähä jännää, koska tuol sivul ei ollu mitää osotetta tai mitään (Google Maps pelastaa). Saavuttiin paikalle ni siellä oli joku Meripelastuslaitoksen paikka :'D Mutku missää ei lukenu et pääsy kielletty (ei semmosta ois tollasessa paikassa voinu missata!), eikä siel muutenkaa näkyny ketää ni talssittii vaa sinne. Ei saatu poliiseja perään et kai se oli ihan ok! Kyl se must oli ihan julkinen paikka.

Shoottipäivänä sitte pakkauduin autoon ja hurautin eka hakemaa Ainon ja sitte Ellun. Ekaa kertaa muute ajelin tuolla päässä Helsinkiä (Tai Helsingissä ylipäätään), hieman jänskätti, mutta päästiin ehjinä perille. Tuo oli muuten vissii jotai suht rikkaiden asuinaluetta, koska ne talot (ja Vonit monessa sukunimessä) *^*

Asut meillä oli siis Kouha ja Titus. Ainoo mikä pelotti shootista et tuona päivänä oli tosiaa *köhköh* se +3 astetta. Kouhalla kun tuota vaatetta ihan hirveesti ole..... l'D Aamulla vielä mietin vaihanko Hakuryuhn, mutta ku Kouha oli ainoo mikä mul oli mukana uudella kämpällä, ni menin sit sillä. Ja ei oikeestaa ees tuntunu pitkää aikaa hirvee kylmältä, loppupuolella sitte alko vaan sormet ja varpaat palelee. Ei sit ihan hirveen pitkään viivytty tän takia, mutta saatiin silti kivoja kuvia hyvä kasa!

Today I got pictures from our Magi-shoot a couple of weeks away from Aino, and since I was ready editing them this "early, I didn't want to wait for tomorrow to make this post :'D

We wanted to shoot our Magi-costumes with Elemmire as we didn't get much pictures from Tracon (or I still haven't got those) and decided to go to have a photoshoot together. It was a bit difficult to find a good place, but then we found a small ruins from Matosaari at Jollas, east Helsinki. We went to check it a couple of days earlier just in case, as he pictures were from winter and form few years away, so that we would have time to make a plan B if this wouldn't work. Getting there was quite interesting, as on that site there weren't any addresses or anything (Google Maps saves). We arrived and first thing we see is some Lifeboat Association place :'D But as there weren't anywhere "Do not enter" signs (we couldn't have missed them there) and there weren't anyone so we just walked in. We didn't get  polices after us so I guess that was okay! I'm pretty sure it was a public place.

On the shootting day I got into the car and went to get Aino and then Ellu. First time I drove at that part of Helsinki (or pretty much at Helsinki at all), I was a bit nervous, but we got there on one piece.. That seemed to be some rich people's living area, because the houses (And all Von's in the last names) *^*

Our costumes were Kouha and Titus. Only thing that I was afraid of was that *cough* it was +3 degrees. Kouha doesn't have much clothes.... :'D In the morning I was still thinking wheater I should change to Hakuryu, but Kouha was the only one I had along at my new apartment so I went with it. And it wasn't really that cold for long time, at the end only my fingers and toes started to freeze. So we didn't spend long time there, but we still got a lot of good pictures!

Siinähän niitä!

Hihii, huomenna on Halloween ja PC:n Halloween miitti, meen sinne jonkinlaisena vampyyri!Gouna~ En malta odottaaaa~~ Sieltäkin toivottavasti saadaan kuvia! Ottakaa random meikkitestikuvia! Pääsin kans testailamaa noita piilareita mitkä sillo joskus tilasin. Ne on ihanaaaat~ Jostain syystä vaa mul oli hirveesti hankaluuksii saada ne päähä o.o

Have some random make up test pictures! I got to test the contacts I ordered. They're lovely~ but for some reason I had lot of trouble to get them in my eyes o.o

Photoshoot at Silent Hill

I was photoshootting with my friends Rewe and Visa. Rewe wanted pictures of her Heather (Silent Hill) cosplay, and asked for Silenthillish setting. Suprisinly that was found quite close, just 10 minutes from my house at Kera. I took a chance to get photos of my Elyon cosplay, even though the costume isn't ready (read: I haven't even started), but as a casual version. Witches fit for halloween, after all!

By the way.. I was thinking, if halloween is a party for horror and creepy stuff... why do we wish "happy halloween"? :'D I mean, I know the history of it, but now days.. l'D
