Tracon X 2/2

Meinasin sunnuntaiaamuna mennä kattomaan CosTourin dokkarin klo 9, kun en lauantaina ois kerenny kattoo sitä. Mutta en sitten mennytkään koska arvostin sänkyä liikaa ja selvittiin Ainon kanssa lopultaan coniin vasta joskus lähempänä 10 :'DD Onneks Margaery oli suht nopsa pistää päälle ja meikit oli helpot kun en tehny rajauksia. Yritin pitää ne suht simppelinä, kun ei sillä näkyvästi meikkiä sarjassa ole. 

Käytiin viemässä kamat autolle ja meinattiin mennä jonottaa cossipaikkalippuja. Jonoa oli jo muodostunut hyvin, mutta Mii oli oman sakkinsa kanssa aika alussa ja lupasi kivasti ottaa samalla meillekin <3 Liput käsiini saatuamme menin käymään myyntipöydillä ekaa kertaa kunnolla koko conin aikana (lauantaina olin vaan nopsaan käyny pari pöytää kattomassa). Mukaan nappasin kaks julistetta, Free! (yllättikö?) ja SHAMAN KING! Ei missään myydä SK-tavaraa, olin hieman riemuissani kun näin tämän ;_; <3

I was supposed to go to see CosTour's document in the sunday morning at 9 am, as I didn't have time at Saturday. But I didn't after all as I was too bonded with my bed and we made it to the con place with Aino closer to 10 am :'DD Luckily Margaery is very fast to put on and make up was fast as I didn't do any eye linings. I tried to keep my make up pretty simple as possible as she doesn't really wear any in the show.

We took our luggage to the car and were about to go to queue for the cosplay seat tickets. There already was some line but Mii was at quite beginning with her crew and promised again to take us tickets too <3 After receiving them I went to the Dealer's Hall properly for the first time during the con (I had just quickly checked a couple of tables in Saturday). I got two posters, Free! (surprise?) and SHAMAN KING! No one sells SK-merch, I was a bit happy when I saw this ;_; <3

laatupuhelinkuva, voisinko jo saada sen uuden kännykän

Olin sopinut Cosplay-jedien kanssa GoT-photoshootin puol 11, joten miittasin heidät. Taisin Katan kanssa jutskailla siinä ootellessa? Aino tuli meitä kuvaamaan, tosin oli vähän haastavaa koska öö, mitä tälläset hahmot tekee? :DD muutaku pönöttää siis. On ne pönötyskuvatki kivoja sillon tällön. Mukana shootissa oli myös appivannn--- siis anoppi ja sen veli, aka Cersei ja Jamie. Unohtumattomin hetki shootista kyllä oli kun Jamie syöksyy korjaamaan Cersein hihojen asentoa, kameran linssisuojus lentää sen kädestä (voisin sanoa tähän kaikki maailman vitsit Jamien kädestä, mutten sano) suoraan lampeen. Ilmeet oli kaikilla varmaan hetken tasoa (/O[ ]O)/. Urheasti ritarimme sen sieltä kyllä kalasti. Ei sais nauraa mutta nauran silti.
Shoottailun jälkeen törmäsin Joshiin ja Janicaan (AKA Azula ja Mai) ja hengailin niiden kanssa kisoihin asti. Aino oli ollu ihana ja ostanu mulle ruokaa vaikken ollu ees pyytäny, kiitos kun ajattelet mua muru ;_; <3 ei nimittäi oltu syöty aamupalaa, koska vaikka lauantaina käytiin kaupassa ostamassa aamuks ruokaa, kun päästii hotellille kummalleki tuli nälkä ja syötii meijä eväät, ja kaupat ei ollu auki vielä ku lähettii hotellilta.
Kisat oli taas huikeet, NCC:stä en oikeen muista muita kun voittajan ja kolmanneks tulleen : D esityskisassa oli paljon kaikkee hienoo, mm Reta ja Mii <3 mutta yhh, voihan Rintamasuunta ja teijän SnK-esityksenne! Kattokaa se oikeesti jos ette kisoja nähny, mulla ei vaan löydy sanoja, tää oli jotain niin täydellistä. Katoin ton uudestaan nyt ku linkin hain ja kylmät väreet tuli vieläki! Design-kisaki oli kiva, mukavaa kun tääki formaatti on alkanu saada kisaajia :> ja Päiville tuli ansaittu voitto!

I had arranged a GoT-photoshoot with Cosplay-Jedit to 10.30 so I met up with them. I think I was talking with Kata before that? Aino came to photograph us, though it was pretty hard, like, what do these kinds of characters do? :DD other than just stand. Stnading pictures are fine occatianally too. Along with us at the shoot were parents-i---- I mean mother-in-law and her brother, aka Cersei and Jamie. The most memorable moment of our shoot was definitely when Jamie rushes to fix Cercei's sleeves, the cover for camera lens flew from his hand (I could say all the jokes about Jamie's hand here, but I won't) right into the pond. All of our faces were probably level (/O[ ]O)/ for a moment. Bravely our knight fished it from the water. I know I shouldn't laugh but I do.
After photoshoot I found Josh and Janica (AKA Azula and Mai) and hanged with them until the competition. Aino was darling and bought me food even though I hadn't asked for it, thanks for thinking about me ;__; <3 we didn't eat breakfast, because even though we had bought food saturday evening for next morning, when we got to hotel we were hungry and both ate our snacks, and stores weren't open yet when we left.
The competition was good again. I don't really remember the NCC except for the winner and the third place : D Skit competition had many good performances, for example Reta and Mii <3 But oh Rintamasuunta and your SnK-show! Seriously, watch this if you weren't at the competition, I just have no words how perfect it was. I just re-watched it while taking the link and still got chills! Design-competition was nice, nice to see this format is starting to get more contestants :> And Päivi got deserved victory!

Kisojen jälkeen oli vuorossa pieni tunnistustehtävä. Olin sopinut erään DA-kaverin, Frinian, kanssa että nähdään Traconissa, mutta lauantaina meillä oli kokoajan menny aikataulut ja menot ristiin. Nyt sitten laitoin viestiä että jumalauta pysyt siellä missä olet! Onnistuttiin löytämään toisemme ja vaihettiin muutama sana, muttei sen kauempaa valitettavasti ehitty hengata (olin sopinu edellispäivän Zukon ja Irohin kanssa että tuun myyntipöytien luo niitä kattomaan, ja ne oli jo tovin joutunu oottaa mua ja Frinia meni kattomaan tanssiesitystä). Mutta kumminkin nyt nähtiin viimein, Frostissa kun feilattiin kun en saanu sille ajoissa infoa että ollaan samassa conissa, ja tästä lähin tunnistus on toivottavasti helpompaa : D ollaan jo pari vuotta Devassa jutskailtu, varmaan pidempäänki mutta tuo nyt ainaki aktiivisemmin.
Viimein pääsin Zukon ja Irohin, tai siis tänään Sesshoumarun ja Kaguran, luokse ja kokoonnuttiin muunkin Team Fire Nationin kanssa ja päätettiin mennä yhdessä Traconin uuteen meido-kahvilaan, Kata liittyi meidän seuraan hetkeksi ennen kun sen piti lähteä kotiin ;_; Tilasin vohveli-annoksen, ja meido piirsi siihen suklaakastikkeella ruusun (koska Margaery ja ruusut, duh). Oli hyvää, ja ilmeisesti kermavaahto oli loppu koska saatiin jätskillä (ei haittaa~).
Täältä siirryttiin kolmanteen kerrokseen rupattelemaan loppuconiks. Kun viimein aattelin et voisin alkaa suunnittelee meijän autolaisten ettimistä (oli kovin vaikea lähteä ja sanoa heipat noille ihanuuksille ;_; ), tuli esiin semmonen kiva pikku sivuseikka et Ainolta oli akku loppunu puhelimesta.. Tian sain kiinni ja lähettiin ettimään sitä, joka onneks onnistu aika helposti loppujen lopuks. Tehtiin matkalla välipysähdys jollain huoltsikalla että saatiin ruokaa. Pääsääntösesti vaan puhuttiin paksaa (siis oikeesti, paksaa) ja levottomia ja katottiin huonoja Tube videoita.

After the competition I had a little recognizing mission. I had agreed to meet with my DA-friend, Frinia, at the con but Saturday our schedules had crossed all the time. Now I sent her message that stay where you are goddammit! We managed to find each others and change few words but didn't get to hang out any longer (I had told prevous day's Zuko and Iroh that I'd go to see them and they had already waited me for a while and Frinia went to see the dance performance). But at least we got to meet finally, as we failed at Frostbite since I didn't get a message to her in time that we're at the same con, and next time recognizing will be easier hopefully :'D We've been talking at DA for already a couple of years, maybe even longer but more actively for that.
Finally I got to Zuko and Iroh, today Sesshoumaru and Kagura, and we gathered up with the rest of the Fire Nation and decided to go to Tracon's new maid cafe. Kata also joined us for a moment before she had to leave home ;_; I ordered waffles and our maid drew a rose to it with chocolate sauce (because Margaery and roses, duh) It was delicous, and apparently they were out of whipped cream as we got our dishes with ice cream (I'm not complaining~).
Form there we moved to the third floor to chat for the rest of the con. Finally when I started to plan of finding my car pals (it was hard to say good bye to those lovelies ;_; ) I came across such a detail that Aino's phone had run out of batter... I reached Tia and we went to look for her, which luckily wasn't that hard in the end. We did a ptich stop at some gas station so that we got food. Mostly we just talked shit (I mean, literally shit) and restless stuff and watched bad videos from Youtube.

Tracon nous kyllä vuoden parhaaksi coniksi! Tapasin paljon uusia ihmisiä ja oli tosi ihanaa <3 Sanon varmaan samat asiat mitä Desun päivityksessäkin, mutta tämä kyllä meni pitkälle Desun ohi :D Kiitos kaikille joiden kanssa olin tekemisissä, erityisesti lauantain ATLAlaisille ja erityiserityis kiitos parhaalle ja ihanimalle Team Fire Nationille <3 Tunsin ainoostaan Janican etukäteen, enkä sitäkään niin hirveen hyvin, mutta ollaan nyt jo juteltu paljon FB:n ryhmächatissa, ropetettu, sovittiin jo uus ryhmä Yukiin (tää oikeestaan tehtiin jo conissa, kun Kata sano et se olis kaverinsa kaa cossaamassa siellä Kataraa ja Sokkaa~), ja jo ollaan miittailemassa noin kuukauden päästä photoshootin ja hauskanpidon merkeissä~ Niistä on nyt jo tullu tärkeitä vauvoja <3
Conidarra oli pahin pitkään aikaan mutta ihme kyllä en saanu coniruttoa vaikka välillä siltä tuntu. Pari uutta projektia on jo tiedossa, hihihii~

Tracon rose to hold the best con of the year title! I met many people again and it was so fun all the time <3 I probably said same things in Desucon post but this rose hiiiiigh above Desu :D Thank you everyone I had contact with, especially Saturday's ATLA peeps and especially especially our awesome and dearest Team Fire Nation <3 I only knew Janica beforehand and not her too well either, but we have already talked lot in FB's group chat, RPGd, arranged a new group to Yukicon (this was actually done already at the con, when Kata told she and her friend are planning to do Katara and Sokka there~) and we're planning a meet up in about a month with photoshoot and having fun~ They have already become my precious babys <3
The con hangover has been worst in a long time but for my surprise I didn't get con plague even though I felt like it a couple of times.
I already have a couple of new projects going on, hihihii~

WIP: Aladdin+Margaery

Tällä viikolla on taas tullu pakerrettua cosseja. Vanhoja ja uusia.

Tiistaina kävin Neeneen kanssa hakemassa ilmasta kokista Narnikkatorilta E-kankaassa ostamassa sen cossiin kankaat, ja ostin samalla Aladdinille uuden vyökankaan, Margaeryn vetskarin ja Kaorun viittakankaan. 

Ekan vyön tein Aladdinille Kouhan jämäkankaista, mutta päätin ostaa vähän sopivamman väristä ja kevyempää kangasta. Nyt siitä tuli parempi. Jouduin tekemään sen kumminkin kahdesta osasta koska kangas oli sellasta joka leikattiin "väärin päin" (poikittain?) jolloin olisin joutunu ostamaan ihan hirveesti liikaa jos olisin yhdestä pituudesta halunnu. Mutta nyt saan sidottua ton silleen aika kivasti :>  Toinen suikale tulee vyötärölle ja toisesta tehdään se solmu+roikkuva osa (termit.com)

Oon tehny myös sen sen otsakiviasuan Fimosta. Se odottelee vielä lakkaa päälle ja on sitten valmis. Vielä pitäis keksiä miten sen kiinnitän peruukkiin o_o klipsipinni ei toimi.

I have been working on cosplays again during this week. New and old ones

On Tuesday we went to get free Coke from Narnikkatori Eurokangas with Neenee to buy fabrics for her cosplay and I also bought Aladdin's new sash fabric, Margaery's zipper and cape fabric for Kaoru.

First sash for Aladdin I made from left overs of Kouha but I decided to buy a bit better shade and lighter fabric. Now it's better. I had to make it from two pieces though, since the fabric was cut like "wrong direction" (crosswise?) so I would have had bought way too much extra if I had wanted it from one piece. But now I can tie it pretty nicely : > another part comes to the waist and another makes the knot+flowing part (terms.com)

I have also done the gem for his forehead. It's now waiting to be sprayed and then it's ready. Now I only need to figure out how to attach it to my wig o_o normal hair clip doesn't work.

Sitten olikin vuorossa operaatio turbaani. Löysin netistä aika kivan tuton jota hyödynsin. Siinä turbaani tehtiin lippiksen päälle. En ihan suoraan sen mukaan tehnyt, ihan vaan koska mun kangas oli epämääräsinä paloina eikä pitkänä pätkänä :'D 

Then was the operation turban. I found nice tutorial from internet that I used. In that the turban was made over a cap. I didn't use the tuto directly all the time as my fabric was in random pieces and not in one big piece :'D

No, I really didn't find anything better than a screaming yellow cap.

 Ekaksi siis leikattiin lippiksestä lippa irti, jonka jälkeen kangas liimattiin sen päälle. Mun kangas oli kaksin kerroin, koska noh, keltanen vähän paisto valkosesta läpi kun oli vaan yks :'D Sitten toisesta kangassuikaleesta kiedoin sen reuna-asian ja liimasin kiinni. Tuli taas muistettua että kuumaliima on kuumaa. Jos joku miettii mikä toi valkonen juttu tossa hatun päällä on, niin leikkasin sen nupin mikä noissa usein on irti ja siihen jäi semmonen metalli osa, nii peitin sen ettei törröttäis tai tulis kankaasta läpi.

First you cut the visor out of the cap and after that glue the fabric on it. I had double layer of fabric since well, the yellow leaked quite well trough when it was just one :'D Then from another fabric piece I wrapped the thing on the hem and glues it on. Again I was reminded that hot glue is hot. If someone wonders what that white part on the hat is, I cut the knob those hats usually have off and it left a metal part there so I covered it so that it wouldn't come trough the fabric.

Ja valmista tuli! Oon ihan tyytyväinen tohon, hirveesti ei näy mitää sotkuja ja liimaklönttejä missään. Ehkä ompelen tohon vielä semmosen peruukkiklipsin varmuudeks, vähän tuntu sellaselta että jos yhtää enempää tuulee saattaa lähtee päästä : D

And ready! I'm pretty happy with this, there aren't really any mess or glue spots showing. I'll maybe sew a wig clip inside for safety reasons, it felt bit like it's gonna fly off if it winds too hard : D

Nyt on sitten Aladdinin vaatteet valmiit! Enää puuttuu huilu, jonka pohjaa odottelen tässä saapuvaksi. Tule jo~! Keppiä en (ainakaan tälle kertaa) tee.

Now I have Aladdin's clothes ready! I'm only missing the flute and waiting it's base to arrive at the moment. Come already~! I'm not making his staff (at least for now).

Jjjjjup, piti mennä valkkaamaan just se mekko mikä näkyy ehkä 5 minuuttia, ja siitäkin yli puolet yläosa on joko a) huivin tai b) hiusten peitossa. En ihan kässänny miten toi toimii, mut improttiin jotain. Nyt tulee mekko ja liivi. Mekkoa saatiin aika paljon ommeltua, kaikki lukuisat helmat on ommeltu yhteen ja odottavat rypytystä, yläosaa pitää vielä vähän hioa. Kuvia ei näistä nyt ole, osat jäität muutenki Tiinalle kun siellä sitä kumminki jatkan, koska ah, saumuri <3

Liivin sensijaan otin kotiin. Saatiin se ommeltua siihen pisteeseen että oikeestaa vaan vuoren kiinnitys puuttuu, mutta koska päätin kirjoa noi kaikki pikku kuviot tossa, sitä ei voitu vielä tehä. Jjjep, ja noita kuvioita oon sitten tässä pari päivää jo väkertäny. Onneks on aikaa lokakuuhun asti.. Yritin eka näistä screenshoteista noita tihrustaa, mutta sitten koin halleluja-momentin kun tajusin että sillä on samanlainen liiviasia yhdessä toisessa mekossa josta on huomattavasti parempia kuvia \o/

Yyyyup I had to go and pick the one dress that shows for maybe 5 minutes and most of it the upper part is covered by a) a scarf b) hair. I didn't quite get how it works but we improvised something. Now we have a dress and a vest. We got the dress part sewn pretty well, all the many hems are toghether already waiting to be pleated, the upper part needs still a bit polishing. I don't have any pictures of these, as the parts are at Tiina's since I'll continue it there because ah, over locker <3

The vest I did take home. We got it to the point that only the lining needs to be attached, but since I decided to embroider all those small patterns on it. Yup, those I have been doing for last few days. Thank God I have time until October...  I tried to peer these from these screenshots but then I had a hallelujah-moment when I noticed she as a same vest thingy in another outfit from which there are much better pictures \o/

Pidettiin tosiaan ke-to pieni cosplaypaja Neeneen kanssa. Autoin sitä sen cossissa ja pääsääntösesti muuten sitte tein tota liiviä. Ja maratoonattiin Inuyashaa taas (saatiin varmaa skipata yli 10 jaksoo turhia fillereitä) ja puhuttiin paskaa ja juotiin kokista.

Tarkoitus oli tähän kirjotella myös tän päivän Hanamista ja Ropeconista joka alkaa huomenna, mutta tästä tuli jo sen verta pitkä että taijan sittenki tehä niistä toisen postauksen ens viikolla. Ropeen ei oo asusuunnitelmia, kuten ei ennenkää. Pitäis joskus jotain tehä sinnekki, keksii joku cossi joka sopii sinne.

 Nyt menen syömään jotain ja sitten nukkumaan.

We had a little cosplay work shop with Neenee from Wednesday to Thursday. I helped her with her costume and otherwise I worked on that vest. Also we marantoned Inuyasha again (probably skipped at least 10 episodes of boring fillers) and talked shit and drank Coca Cola.

I was supposed to write here about today's Hanami and Ropoecon which starts tomorrow, but it got already so long I think I'll make a separate post about them next week. I don't have any costume plans for Rope, like usually. I should do something for there sometime, figure out cosplay that fits there.

Now I'll go to eat something and then to sleep.
